Pilates Inspired Hiit Workout

Sometimes you just need a good sweat right?

HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training and here’s a quick summary of the benefits:

HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time. In the recovery periods, we will be doing Pilates exercises.  Pilates, on the other hand, focuses on improving strength, fluidity, balance, and flexibility and is generally not counted as a cardiovascular form of exercise.

HIIT workouts are great for:

  • burning calories

  • improving cardiovascular health

  • boosting metabolism

  • building muscles

  • getting the most bang for your buck
