Personal Training for Teens
Each pre-teen and teenage personal fitness routine will be designed specifically around the body type, goals and capability of each client. We do not push anyone to lengths that they cannot go, and we can ensure clients that we will not place them in any uncomfortable routines that they cannot complete. The team at AP will demonstrate each exercise routine so the client knows exactly how to exercise correctly and effectively.
There are many advantages in starting fitness training at a young age. An instructor will help develop a positive impression of fitness training and develop the ability to cope with the changes experienced in adolescence, improve body image and maintain good health and lifelong healthy habits.
Understanding your body and becoming properly educated about personal fitness and correct nutritional values are essential to anyone’s everyday living. At Absolute Pilates, we emphasize the importance of understanding the muscular functions of the body and the need for good nutrition at a young age. The younger you start understanding the importance of personal fitness, the longer you can prolong your life and sense of overall health.
Absolute Pilates will help young people understand the importance of incorporating some sort of daily exercise or movement into your everyday routine, and we believe that we can instill a philosophy to help benefit a better sense of well-being.
We follow traditional strength and conditioning guidelines according to the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
We make exercise for teens fun and interactive by incorporating cardio, barre, Pilates, strength training and sports-specific movements. Our team can work with your adolescents and teens to teach and show them that exercise can be fun, all while forming healthy habits.
Our certified personal trainers also have great experience getting youths ready for sport-specific seasons, such as dance, gymnastics, field hockey, softball, and volleyball. We work with your teens to build the necessary strength and speed as well as teach them proper skills and form to help them best prepare for a specific sport.
Whether your teen has an interest in learning how to strength train, box, run a 5k, throw a softball around or do sports specific training, our trainers at Absolute Pilates will work with your teens to not only make fitness fun but to instill healthy life-long habits.
